Many thanks to Rose of Bonjour Events for recommending blurb as a follow up to my Baby Chapters post. For as low as $12.95 you can create your own blog book…yes, I said blog book (or wedding book . or company portfolio book . or photobook . etc). OMG I feel so behind in the times. So, there goes my flash of brilliance.
A very cool feature of blurb is the ability to sell your photobook to fans online through their bookstore. My personal *fav* . expat.dk.
PS – I’ve been searching for a photobook service so I can print my wedding pics, but haven’t found anything I like (*sob, sob*). That is, until I found blurb. I’m going to give it a whirl and will be sure to blog the final product. And, yes, I still owe you pics from the wedding. Soon…soon…

Yet another cool idea via Springwise!
Kidmondo, the uber amazing online baby journal has teamed up with Baby Chapters to allow Mom bloggers to select their favorite blog stories and publish them in a beautiful (and durable) hardcover book.
I know, I know, blah, blah, baby. What does that have to do with me? I smell a business idea…I’m hoping that very soon bloggers will be able to easily create their very own hardcover books of their tips and tales…for their own enjoyment.

Once you dive head first into the world of blogging, you’ll find yourself immersed in a sea of hundreds of great blogs. So how can you possibly stay on top of them all? The answer is Google Reader.
Once you’ve created an account, you’ll want to start adding subscriptions – simply click on +Add Subscriptions, input the URL address of the blog you want to watch, and click Add. Here’s what’s really cool. If you don’t have a URL, you can enter a search term in the field and Reader will automatically provide a list of related blogs.
And lastly, to make things even easier for myself, I make iGoogle my default webpage and have included Google Reader as one of my main widgets. This way, any time I log on to the web, it tells me if any of my favorite blogs have updated their content.
For a list of some of the blogs in my reader, click on either of the links below:

Stay tuned for more great blogs!

I’m very excited – I just received the 3rd issue of Elegant Wedding magazine and I’m so inspired by the beautiful design and decor elements throughout. Much like Grace Ormonde, this Canadian bridal magazine is for the bride who values luxury and style.
On November 18th, 2007, they will be hosting their inaugural The Elegant Wedding Bridal Showcase event in Montreal (so disappointed I can’t attend!). AND, they’re also working on launching a blog.
So, stop by and get inspired!
