What if I told you that there’s a new draping product that:
1. Lets you match virtually any pattern, print or logo. Imagine being able to match your draping material to your linens, invitations or monogram.
2. Gives the look of a high end fabric at a fraction of the cost.
3. Is 100% recyclable.
We launched Printed Velon into the Canadian market last week. The US launch took place at the Special Event Show in Atlanta this past January. We’re so excited to be a part of one of the hottest new products to hit the events industry in 2008!

Draping adds drama, elegance and finishing to a space. It can transform a venue, create a space within a space, hide unmentionables. It can be soft and flowing, thick and luxurious or stiff and structured. And one thing is for certain, there’s no mistaking the magic it creates.

For the experimental gourmand. Function meets beauty with this sleek magnetic spice rack by Purpose Design (my new Etsy favorite) – $45.

I came across this fantastic product on (where else?) Etsy. These chalkboard coasters designed by Purpose Design, can be drawn on and wiped off time and time again. Not only has Purpose Design created a brilliant way to store your coasters, but they’ve also designed a use for them when they’re not preventing drinks from soiling your tabletops. When entertaining, have a small bin of chalk and let guests write their own messages (and keep track of their drinks). They’d also be great as placeholders. Or when serving a signature cocktail, why not hand write the key ingredients down for your guests.

With decals and bold print wallpaper making their marks on walls all across the globe, it seems only natural that they’d make their transition to the outdoors. Award winning artist Deborah Sommers created DGarden Collection – a beautiful marriage of her love of the outdoors and her passion for illustration and graphic design.
Her line of stunning banners create bold focal points (just imagine a trio of these as a backdrop to an outdoor ceremony). They also hide unsightly items in the garden (a great alternative to slow growing shrubs)…
These graphic nature print pillows would be a great addition to any outdoor event.
And these beautiful stickers add visual interest to windows and clear walls.

One of the hottest trends for spring are big, bold, juicy patterns! Florals, African-inspired, Moroccan, 60′s poppies – everything is popping up patterns. They translate so beautifully to fashion, pillows, table linens, wallpaper, draping, tableware, you name it. And, after a long, drab Winter, these images make me smile.

Love these handmade boutonnieres and corsages by Etsy artisan Lalalaurie. Crafted using German crepe paper and adorned with feathers, ribbons and millinery trimmings, each piece is simply stunning. Just take a look at this bouquet. The best part is that the pieces have life beyond the event. Use them as a hair accessory, put them in a vase or use them to tie back your curtains.
