After seeing these images of designer Max Azria’s home, I’m left feeling very inspired. A wonderful orchestra of colors – burnt orange, deep purple, black, bold yellow and silver. Stunning.

Earlier this week we finished the tent installations for LG Fashion Week. After creating the venues for some of New York’s most high profile shows, it’s wonderful to come back home!

Dear Manhattan,
We flew over to see you last week with high hopes of finding the perfect shoes for my perfect wedding dress. I was certain that in the mecca of shoes it would be an easy decision – do I want the Manolos, the Choos or the Louboutins? But Manhattan, I never imagined that we would wander the streets…from Midtown to Soho…during a massive shoe sale week…for 3 days…and walk away empty handed! My fear, at the end of those 3 days, was that our love affair may just be over. But alas, with a little bit of internet research, we found our saviour. A little store on the 6th floor of an unsuspecting building in Chelsea held the key to our happiness. My Glass Slipper had a wonderful variety of designer shoes AND the Stuart Weitzman’s I ended up buying came in at a fraction of the cost of the other shoes I had been trying on. Manhattan, you’ve redeemed yourself. I will see you again when I have to buy my clutch ;-)
Sincerely,
Lara

One of the hottest trends for spring are big, bold, juicy patterns! Florals, African-inspired, Moroccan, 60′s poppies – everything is popping up patterns. They translate so beautifully to fashion, pillows, table linens, wallpaper, draping, tableware, you name it. And, after a long, drab Winter, these images make me smile.

In my single-minded search for the perfect wedding clutch, I tripped over a veritable purse Diva. Leigh-Ann Kline oozes design sensibility – an interior designer by trade, she discovered her love of hand crafting custom hand bags shortly after she had her second child. And she’s since channeled that creativity into developing Leigh-Ann Kline Handbags. Her designs have been featured in the top wedding mags and it’s not hard to see why. Check out her hand candy below.
