The new lunch box

There’s something novel and nostalgic about lunch boxes. They’re not only a beautiful way to package food, but they become a unique alternative to plates when eating food.

When to use them…just a few ideas
1] at a picnic-themed event
2] when you need a carry-all at a food station event
3] as an alternative to traditional gift boxes & takeaways
4] as a unique presentation for foods
5] at lunchtime conventions & corporate events
6] when looking for unconventional branding tools (go for branded lunch boxes)

Avoid lunch box let-down
Ensure food selections taste great at room temperature and do not need to be reheated…unless you’re serving immediately.

Think creatively
Tap into your right brain when creating the lunch boxes. You can go with standard store-bought boxes or create unique DIY styles.

It’s fall and apples are gloriously in season, so what better way to celebrate the impending cold and this delicous fruit than to feast on a candy coated, sprinkled, chocolate dipped, coconut rolled candy apple!

To add a bit of sophistication to this theme park novelty, use forks instead of sticks or tie sticks with chic ribbons or consider going with a monogrammed candy shell.

This wonder can be found in San Francisco’s famous Ferry Building. And, just this year they opened every child’s dream…a candy shop in Hayes Valley. I just love the undressed chocolate cakes and their simple and hand-made finishes and details. These cakes are totally inspiring. A definite favorite!

Figs

Fresh, baked, dried, blended…I love figs! In the latest edition of Special Events Magazine, they predicted that figs would transition from the tables of chic restaurants onto the plates of the masses. I can see this fantastic fruit making its mainstream introduction through jams, ice creams and breads. For now, I’ll settle for a few delectable recipes from all over the world wide web.
