Event Inspiration - Untamed Luxury

Having been a big fan for some time now of Abby Larson over at Style Me Pretty, I've been wanting to put together my own version of a wedding inspiration board. But between work and the blog, I just never found the time. Perhaps it was Liene's post over at Blue Orchid Deisgns or the fact that I'm snowed in today that motivated me to sit down and just do it. So with mouse in hand, I clicked away...and here's my inspiration board.

Inspired by a stunning faux zebra rug, I created my dream wedding around this accent. Bold pattern, shades of black and white, organic structure and just the right amount of texture...

Gorgeous! Actually creating an inspiration board was on my list for this weekend's blog topics. Yours looks great.

Thank you! It's actually quite fun. I think I may just spend a bit more time being creative ;-)

Oh indeed that IS dreamy! Ha ha...I especially am loving those SHOES (aside from weddings, shoes are my other obsession...lol). I have yet to create my own inspiration board...but have been thinking about doing so. I just have to find the right program to do so, any suggestions? And of course, thanks for the inspiration, as always!!!

Jaime,

I do hope you have a chance to do one. I use Adobe Photoshop for all of my retouching & image design needs. I know there are a few programs you can use, but I find photoshop the best (it's the program most used in the graphic design industry). Best of luck! And, please share it with me when it's done.

I will definitely share my first inspiration board with you when it's done! :) I'm looking to download "Gimpshop", which I hear from a fellow tech friend is similar to photoshop, but free...we'll see how it goes! :) Have a great weekend!!!

P.S. Sorry, just noticed your comment today...lol.

So many beautiful things. That dress is gorgeous and the feather napkin rings are unexpected. Good job!
